The Battle of Cable Street
by Co.llective Arts Productions
Written by Jake Allen
This piece of epic theatre uses direct quotes and fictionalized scenes to explore the rise of fascism in the U.K. and the direct actions taken by citizens to stop it. The Battle of Cable Street tells the forgotten story of a moment of Jewish triumph over fascism in 1930’s London.
