Times are dark. Artistic expression is outlawed. With hopeful desperation, a pair of former artists gather in the dark and find sanctuary in an eight foot box. How much would you risk in the name of art?
Justice and Johnathan, a mighty company of two, connected through their work at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. By day, Justice is a stage manager; Johanthan a carpenter. The two have an interest in non-traditional applications of theatre and are thrilled to participate in Theatre Crude where they can share their belief in art's capacity for healing and fostering community. Also: getting weird!

CYRANO A-GO-GO
BY: AUDACITY THEATRE LAB'S BRAD MCENTIRE
Cyrano A-Go-Go is an exploration of one restless theatre artist's fascination with the 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. A chance encounter with the script at a suburban library at the age of fifteen leads McEntire into a wonderful, and sometimes elusive, calling. Mixing the personal, historical and literary into a journey through Rostand's play McEntire puts a funny, warm, insightful spin on the usual coming-of-age one-man show.
Brad McEntire is a Texas native and works primarily as a playwright, solo performer and director. For the last several years, McEntire has toured his original one-person shows Cyrano A-Go-Go, Chop, Robert's Eternal Goldfish and The Beast of Hyperborea to venues and festivals all over North America. Since 2008 he has served as artistic director of the small-batch theatre company Audacity Theatre Lab. Audacity is a small, scrappy and fiercely independent theatre collective based in Dallas, Texas.

BY: JAMIE CAMPBELL

Come see the comedian that Dan Telfer of Comedy Central and Mad Magazine called a "Bombastic genius!" and ChicagoNow praised for his "quick wit and inventive riffing."

BY: ELAINE LINER
Knitting and comedy intertwine in this smart five-star festival hit about unraveled romances, unrivaled literature and life's knottiest dilemmas. All you knit is love for an hour that BroadwayBaby.com describes as "full of wit...told with style and elegance." TheaterJones.com says it's "a purl jam that will have you in stitches!" Dallas News: "Like listening to a friend who really needs to tell you some stories." Come early to add rows to the "traveling scarf." Bring your knitting. Hookers welcomed (you know who I mean).
Elaine Liner is a Dallas-based playwright/performer who debuted her solo show Sweater Curse: A Yarn about Love at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe. From gender identity to individual freedoms, The Ultra-Conservative Theatre Summit allows the elephant in the room to take center stage.

WE STAN TOGETHER
BY: WE STAN TOGETHER
Stan| Noun or Verb (stans, stanning, stanned)
An overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity.
Caitlin Bitzegaio & Lauren Brickman bring their pop culture expertise to the UCB stage each month to unpack and celebrate the most important pop culture news, fan theories, and Instagram stories that they can’t stop thinking about and, frankly, you can't either. Think about it like TEDTalks for people who've binged minimum 60% of all Shonda shows, slide in DMs with photos from Sarah Michelle Gellar’s insta and still think about Pacey Witter. Often. Have you read every Yelp review of SUR lounge? This is the show for you. We Stan Together.
Lauren Brickman and Caitlin Bitzegaio are NYC based artists who met through The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre where We Stan Together was born. Outside of their various UCB credits they have both had wild and varied careers. Caitlin's recent television writing credits include The Rundown with Robin Thede on BET, Impractical Jokers, and Project Runway (wild, right?) Check out caitbitz.com! Lauren has appeared on the TV shows BULL (CBS), Alternatino (Comedy Central), the feature film Gloria (with Julianne moore), and Off Broadway in Lisa Lampanelli's play STUFFED. You can find out more about this former Oklahoma gal (who still has a 405 number!) at LaurenBrickman.com and you can keep up with the show by following us on instagram @westantogether4ever
